A very nice example of a Kriegsmarine officers dagger standard etched blade by the renowned manufacturer of Eickorn, still retaining its leather washer the dagger a good tight and snug fit into the scabbard, the gilt to the eagle pommel, cross guard and scabbard very good, no indentations to the lower part of the scabbard, the celluloid grip undamaged with its original grip wire, the silver portapee knot still with its original wrap, having some very light oxidisation, a matching set of the aluminium buckled straps both Lions heads having the starburst manufacturers mark on the reverse side, fabric excellent without any fraying, complete with all four aluminium sprung loaded gilded clips, and its small steadying chain in aluminium gold wash, a very good example.
