A beautiful set comprising a white top cap, white tunic and trousers. The cap is a junior officer rank, contrasting with the insignia on the tunic. Standard blue navy cap with removable white top, some age staining. On test, the cap would appear to be a size 56. Standard officers removable gilded eagle in metal with a very nice, high-quality, heavy bullion gold wire wreath. Standard peak with a single row of wire weave rank insignia. Correct anchor side buttons with their absolutely correct and unique Kriegsmarine style chinstrap. Standard mohair centre band. To the interior, the very light tan sweatband appears to be unworn. The complete interior of the cap is lined in blue satin. An unmarked centre celluloid lozenge is complete with the owner’s name tag of ‘Hans Rossmann’ with the rank of ‘Oberfahrich’ applied; obviously, Hans Rossmann was subsequently promoted from his senior NCO rank.  Four-pocket all-white linen naval tunic, all four pockets with pleats, four button closure, all anchor buttons in gold are removable. Iron Cross ribbon to the upper buttonhole. A removable gilt naval breast eagle. Very lightly stitched-in Oberleutnant Zur See naval shoulder boards. Matching white straight leg trousers, which are maker marked in ‘Brandenburg’. A superb complete uniform.
