German WWII Kriegsmarine M40 Helmet

An original SE64 shell, batch number 1131, originally issued as a Kriegsmarine single decal helmet—the outline of the removed decal still visible beneath an overpainted battleship grey finish. The paint remains largely intact with only minor wear, consistent with naval use. Complete with its original liner showing service wear and the name ‘Egger’ inked on both sides. The chinstrap is partly broken but present, with the main section intact. A genuine and well-preserved example of a Kriegsmarine combat helmet.
