GERMAN WWII KRIEGSMARINE M35 DOUBLE DECAL HELMET

A fabulous example of this extremely difficult to find helmet, the apple green shell stamped ‘E.T. 64’, batch number ‘4467’. The helmet retains virtually all its apple green finish, the deep gold Kriegsmarine decal has one abrasion across the chest, the national tricolour has some slight scratches to the forward edge. The liner retaining rivet heads have all their original paint in place, the interior liner, which is stamped size ‘57’, has excellent light tan colour remaining with obvious signs of wear use, especially in the forehead area. Original owners name hand applied to the leather, ‘Masenlanka’. The original drawstring is in place but broken. The helmet is also complete with its maker marked and ‘1938’ dated chinstrap.
