A goo,d clean example, makers mark Schwerin in raised relief on the reverse side, some wear and loss of the silver plating on the hull of the E boat, the gilding to the outer wreath and Eagle slightly flat. With its original wide tapering horizontal pin system and its original hook and hinge, uniform retaining hook situated on top of the reverse side of the badge behind the Eagle's head, together with a photocopy of the original recipient's E boat badge award, issued on 1 May 1945.
