German WWII Kriegsmarine Captain And Above Visor Cap

A very large size example, possibly a 59 or 60, of a Kriegsmarine captain’s and above visor cap. The cap features the classic naval shape with large, floppy sides and is fitted with a fully matching gold wire national eagle, cockade, and rank grade to the peak. The cap is free from any moth damage and includes the correct Kriegsmarine style strap with two gilded anchor side buttons.

Inside, the mid tan leather sweatband remains intact. The upper inner crown lining, originally light blue, retains its original color in the hidden upper inner sides but has discolored and faded in the exposed areas, with most of the center celluloid lozenge broken away.
