German WWII K98 Matched Number Display Piece with Leather Frog

An excellent and well-preserved example featuring matching numbers ‘9907’ with maker coding ‘S/155G’. Retains around 60% of its original blued finish and shows no signs of misuse or re-sharpening. The wood grips remain undamaged, with clear Waffenamt stamp to the upper pommel. The rifle retaining mechanism functions smoothly. The scabbard has lost most of its original finish but remains structurally sound and undented. Accompanied by its original leather frog in good condition, displaying attractive contrast stitching in white. A fine, complete wartime example.
