German WWII K98 Matched Number Display Piece

A very clean and matched number example, marked ‘S/172’ with number ‘982J’ on the reverse side, corresponding with the scabbard. Bakelite grips show minor thinness in the grooves. Double Waffen Amt stamped to the upper pommel. Rifle retaining button functions correctly, with some indentations to the backstrap. The scabbard is undamaged and free of dents, though the blued finish has worn. Complete with its RB numbered leather frog, including the hilt retaining strap.
