Excellent blade, marked ‘S/172’ with the number ‘982J’ on the reverse side; these numbers match the numbers on the scabbard. Bakelite grips with some thinness to the grooves. Double waffenamt stamped to the upper pommel. The rifle retaining button works correctly. Indentations to the back strap of the grip. The scabbard has lost its blued finish but is undamaged and undented. Complete with its RB-numbered leather frog, which is of the pattern that has the hilt retaining strap.
