GERMAN WWII K98 DISPLAY PIECE WITH MATCHED NUMBERS AND PLASTIC GRIPS

A lovely blade having all original finish remaining, numbered ‘2703’ with matching ‘2703’ on the scabbard. Undamaged plastic grips. Double waffen amt markings on the upper pommel, with its rifle retaining system intact and working correctly. The scabbard has lost all of its blued finish except in the area which was originally protected by a leather frog, which is now missing. Also marked on the reverse side of the blade and the scabbard ‘CRS 40’.
