German WWII Iron Cross 1st Class, 1939 Bar to the 1914 Iron Cross 1st Class (Screw Back)

A superb quality example of the 1939 bar to the 1914 Iron Cross 1st Class, screw back fitting. While non-maker marked, it is likely a product of Wilhelm Deumer of Lüdenscheid.

This example retains nearly all of its original finish, with only slight fading visible on the fluted-type disc back.

A fine and well-preserved piece, ideal for an Iron Cross collection.
