German WWII Iron Cross 1st Class 1939 2nd type bar to the 1914 Iron Cross 1st Class

A fine example of the rare German WWII Iron Cross 1st Class 1939 2nd type spange (bar) awarded to recipients of the 1914 Iron Cross 1st Class. This version features the correct flat tapering pin to the reverse and is non maker marked.

The front retains its original matt silver finish with bright polished highlights, giving it a striking contrast. Overall, the bar remains in excellent condition with no damage or repairs. A desirable piece for any German military medals or Iron Cross collection.
