German WWII Iron Cross 1st Class 1939

Maker marked ‘L52’ for C.F. Zimmermann of Pforzheim. Features a slightly tapering flat pin on the reverse. A good early-quality example, issued with slight wear to the central core and minor chips to the black enamel, otherwise in good overall condition.
