German WWII Iron Cross 1st Class

A well-made, convex-shaped Iron Cross 1st Class featuring a disc back. The black paint from the central core is missing from the swastika, though the remaining finish is well preserved, displaying a fine quality frame. The reverse is fitted with a central threaded lug secured by a screw-on disc, and a pinpoint uniform retaining pin positioned on the upper arm of the cross. Unmarked example.
