GERMAN WWII INFANTRY OFFICERS CRUSHER CAP

A very heavily worn infantry officer's crusher cap, no size stamped, but on test possibly size 55 or 56. Nap thin to the cap overall. White infantry piping is good and clear, with some minor staining. The dark green centre band has discoloured. Complete with its soft crushable peak and its correct officer's silver wire eagle and national cockade. To the interior, the sweatband is all complete with considerable wear. The inner lining is again all complete, but an enormous amount of wear is evident. A good opportunity to own a battle-worn infantry officer's crusher cap.
