German WWII Indian Volunteer Legion Azad Hind Printed Sleeve Shield

A very rare variation of the Azad Hind sleeve shield, usually seen in woven Bevo form. This example is a printed version featuring the distinctive orange, white, and green colours of the Indian Volunteer Legion.

A clear photograph of this printed sleeve shield being worn is published in For Free India by Martin Bamber (2010), page 84, confirming its authenticity and differentiating it from the more common Bevo variant.
