German WWII Hitler Youth Leader’s Waist Belt and Cross Strap Rig

A rare and seldom-seen leather service belt rig worn by Hitler Youth leaders, finished in a mid-tan colour and complete with its removable cross strap and correct leader’s buckle. The buckle is of hollow cast construction with much of its original interior finish intact, and is marked on the clip with ‘RZM M4/116’.

The leather remains in excellent condition with strong colour and minimal wear. The interior cloth lining, however, has suffered significant moth damage—one section is completely missing, while other areas show varying degrees of damage but remain attached. The belt retains both of its leather runners. Far less commonly encountered than the brocade version, this is a desirable and hard-to-find piece of Hitler Youth leader’s field equipment.
