German WWII Hitler Youth Display Piece

A superb example retaining all of its original cross grain finish. Maker marked RZM M7/40 with its original washer in place. The plated cross guard and upper pommel remain bright, showing only light thinning in areas. The composite grips are completely undamaged, featuring a clean red and white enamel Hitler Youth inset with only slight loss to the black enamel of the swastika. Housed in its original scabbard, which shows minor paint losses visible in our web images but remains generally excellent. Complete with its firm and strong black leather belt loop and a fully functioning male/female pop stud fastening on the hilt retaining strap.
