A4-size paper, folded twice, with some slight foxing to the edges, on the headed paper of Der Reichsführer SS. Dated ‘Berlin 7th Oktober 1942’. The letter is to a Sturmbannfuhrer Hans-Hendrik Neumann, who was the Head of the Secret Police & SD in Oslo. The letter translates as follows: he has been removed from his position in Oslo and will be appointed as Head of Department for the RSHA. He also mentions that his salary will increase in accordance with his new position. Pen signed in the very distinctive signature ‘H.Himmler’. The RHSA was the Reich's main security office, central command post for the SS, Gestapo and SD. This letter was sold by us in February 26 and has since been repurchased by us.
