German WWII Hanhart Aviator’s Watch – 1998 Limited Edition Replika

Hanhart was one of only two companies during the Second World War to produce chronograph wristwatches for Luftwaffe pilots and aircrew. In 1998, the firm released a faithful reproduction of this iconic design in a strictly limited edition of just 2,500 pieces.

This example is watch number 175 and is in superb, fully operational condition. It comes fitted with the original Hanhart-supplied military-style strap, featuring a closure buckle also marked with the Hanhart "H".

The watch is complete with its original leather presentation pouch, interior cushion, and a numbered guarantee card matching the watch—No. 175, dated 28th September 1998. The guarantee clearly identifies the model as “Hanhart Flieger Chronograph (Replika) Model 700FF Limited Edition 2,500 Pieces”, and was originally supplied by a jeweller in Freiburg, Germany.
