GERMAN WWII GERMAN CROSS IN GOLD BY DESCHLER

A very nice German Cross in Gold, four rivet construction. Number ‘1’ for the Company Deschler & Sohn of Munich stamped to the exterior of the wide tapering pin, retaining excellent silvered finish to the ray of the award. Virtually all the black finish remains to the overlay star with some rubbing to the high spot. Good gilt showing to the ‘1941’ dated wreath. Completely undamaged black enamel to the swastika. This is an example of the lightweight Deschler. Hook and hinge is in absolutely perfect untouched condition.
