German WWII Gauleitung Car Pennant

A finely made car pennant for a Gauleitung NSDAP political official, measuring 40 x 24 cm and still mounted on its original pole with eagle and swastika finial. The wine red and white field features an expertly embroidered central eagle and GL lettering, executed to a high standard.

There is minor moth activity to one side of the cloth, but overall presentation remains strong. The Gauleitung, as the second-highest political level within the Third Reich administrative structure, was afforded such quality insignia for official use. This example has been mounted on a modern wooden base for display purposes.
