German WWII Forestry Display Piece – Aluminium Variant with Insignia

A highly sought-after example of the only Forestry service presentation piece to feature Third Reich insignia directly cast into the grip. This is the aluminium-hilted version, considered the most desirable among collectors due to its detail and finish. The clamshell retains strong original gilt overall, with only slight wear visible along the lower edge.

All three decorative acorns are present and securely mounted to the bone grip, each showing a well-preserved frosted finish to the tips. The blade, marked by Tiger of Solingen, remains in excellent condition with deep, clear hunting-themed etching and its original green felt washer intact.

Housed in its correct brown leather scabbard, the piece shows strong stitching and supple leather throughout. Both upper and lower mounts retain a good level of original gilding, and the frog stud is topped with a central acorn motif.
