German WWII Fire Helmet with Comb

A nice example of a German fire service helmet, featuring twin “pepper pot” ventilation holes on either side of the skull and complete with its aluminium protective comb. The helmet displays twin Third Reich police and swastika decals, partially overpainted by a white line around the lower half. Interior liner is complete, fitted with the scarce Y-strap cradle chinstrap system, closely resembling the design of Luftwaffe paratrooper helmet straps.
