German WWII Field Police Officers Visor Cap

A good size 58 standard saddle-shaped officers visor cap, distinguished by its rare orange piping, representing the Field Police branch. Faint traces of the Minden retailer’s silver-blocked logo remain visible beneath the undamaged centre celluloid lozenge.

The cap shows some light moth tracking across the crown, with a single moth hole located on the right-hand overhang. It features a dark green centre band and a matched set of stamped aluminium national eagle and cockade, along with standard officers’ cap cords.

Inside, the light tan leather sweatband shows considerable wear, including minor splits. The gold satin lining remains intact, adding to the overall quality of this scarce and sought-after branch variation.
