GERMAN WWII EARLY KRIESLEITUNG POLITICAL LEADERS VISOR CAP

An early Kriesleitung official's cap with black piping constructed in a canvas-like material, black waffenfarbe. The cap is totally free of any moth damage. Standard velvet centre band. Large political gilded eagle with a single multi-enamelled and multi-constructed central cockade. Gold cap cords with political style gold side buttons. To the interior, the sweatband is of the light cream variety with evidence of wear and use. The inner lining is in a light blue satin. There is no RZM ticket as the early caps did not have RZM issue tickets. Slight staining to the crown area of the satin. The centre celluloid lozenge is absolutely complete with the original owner’s name ‘Muller’ with Roman numerals ‘IV’ next to the name. The cap is a very large size, possibly size 60. Some shredding and fatigue to areas of the interior blue satin lining.
