A well-preserved example of the prestigious Eagle Order 1st Class with Swords, awarded for merit to foreign nationals. The white enamel cross remains entirely free of damage, and the gilt finish to the central eagle is only slightly dulled with age. The crossed swords are present, and the suspension ring is stamped 800, denoting silver content. It comes complete with its original full-length neck ribbon.
Housed in its original presentation case, the interior silk lid retains the award’s designation, though the gilt lettering has faded. The exterior features the prominent embossed eagle with outstretched wings and swastika. The case shows edge wear and signs of damp exposure, but remains structurally sound.
