German WWII DLV/NSFK Mans Display Piece

An excellent example with all original cross grain finish remaining, maker marked ‘Paul Weyersberg of Solingen’. Fitted with a very thin grained blue leather washer and undamaged black enamel swastikas on both sides of the cross guard. The leather grip is in perfect condition.

The display piece sits in its correct scabbard, with the upper and lower fittings retaining excellent finish. There is a small indentation to the ball of the lower scabbard mount. The scabbard leather is complete except for a small section on the left-hand edge. The upper scabbard throat bears the NSFK insignia. This example also retains half of its original hanging strap.
