GERMAN WWII DLV/NSFK FLYERS DISPLAY PIECE

From a collection originally acquired in the Channel Islands of Great Britain, all were purchased in the 1970’s. Good blade, slight staining by SMF Solingen, still with its original blue leather washer. A good degree of original silver finish remains on the cross guard. Undamaged enamel to the swastika on both sides. The grip leather has not dried out; there are a few minor scuffs, one slightly larger, one just below the upper pommel, which itself retains much of its silvered finish. The scabbard leather is also good, supple, not rotten, with one crease close to the lower scabbard mount. Both mounts are slightly dull, no DLV or NSFK markings to the upper scabbard throat, and the hanging strap is missing.
