German WWII DLV/NSFK Flyers Display Piece

From a collection originally acquired in the Channel Islands of Great Britain in the 1970s. This example is in good condition  with slight staining, marked by SMF Solingen, and retains its original blue leather washer. A notable amount of the original silver finish remains on the cross guard. The enamel on the swastika is undamaged on both sides. The leather grip remains supple with only minor scuffs, including one slightly larger mark just below the upper pommel, which itself retains much of its silvered finish. The scabbard leather is also in good condition—supple and intact, with one crease near the lower scabbard mount. Both mounts show slight dulling. There are no DLV or NSFK markings on the upper scabbard throat, and the hanging strap is missing.
