An excellent matched pair of German WWII diplomatic official uniform shoulder straps for Group 1 executives. These are constructed in the general pattern, featuring two outer gold braids flanking a central silver braid, all mounted over a black wool underlay—denoting high-level diplomatic or governmental service.

Each strap is fitted with a gilt national eagle emblem at the center, both of which remain bright and untarnished. The gilt finish to the braiding is equally strong, with no signs of wear or fading.

These shoulder boards are in near mint, unissued condition, showing no evidence of prior stitching or attachment—suggesting they were never applied to a uniform. A rare and well-preserved set, ideal for completing a diplomatic official’s tunic or for advanced uniform and insignia displays.
