GERMAN WWII DIPLOMATIC OFFICIAL UNIFORM SHOULDER STRAPS

A very nice matched pair of general pattern shoulder boards for executives of Group 1. Two gold braids surrounding one silver braid with a gilt national emblem set in the centre of each board over black wool overlay. It would appear that these boards have never been worn; there are no stitch marks or traces of stitching at the base of the board, and therefore are unissued and unused. The gilt on the central emblems is excellent, and no fading to the gilt on the braid.
