German WWII German Cross in Gold in Cloth, Army Issue

A well-preserved example of the German Cross in Gold, army issue variant, featuring excellent detail and original finish. The gold wreath, dated 1941, retains all of its original gilt, set against a clean and well-kept backing cloth. The reverse still bears the maker’s white ink stamp, a feature often lost on worn examples.

A strong and representative piece of mid-to-late war German military decoration.
