An extremely nice, just post-Reichwehr-period officers' saddle-shaped visor cap, white piping overall, very minor moth tracking to the nap only in two areas of the crown.  The central green band is of the lighter shade, indicating the Reichwehr or just post-Reichwehr period. Standard officers' eagle with a slightly smaller Reichwehr-size wreath and central cockade. Officers' bullion cap cords, standard fibre visor. To the interior gold satin lined with the logo ‘Pekuros’ in black on the celluloid lozenge. A slight stain on the satin material to the right-hand side of the lozenge, we have no idea what has caused this. The inner sweatband in light tan and marked with ‘Deutsche Leder’ (leather quality). The cap appears to be a size 56. Accompanying the cap is a very nice quality officer's 1936 pattern tunic, fitted with infantry white piped shoulder boards with two gilt rank pips to each board, indicating the rank of Hauptmann. Collar patches are silver bullion with white twisted cord wool strips to the centre.  A nice quality bullion officers' breast eagle is fitted. Deep turned-back cuffs, four-pocket construction with flaps and pleats.  An Iron Cross 2nd class ribbon is fitted to the second buttonhole. The standard officer's rectangular double claw belt fitted. Also fitted to the tunic is a very nice quality combat clasp in silver, marked on the reverse side in raised relief ‘RS ’, indicating the Company Rudolf Souval of Vienna. The markings are the Company’s wartime style of markings. A good silver finish remains overall on the award. An Iron Cross 1st class, maker marked ‘L18’, some minor losses to the black finish of the central core, the item is stamped ‘L18’ to the centre of the wide tapering pin, L18 is the manufacturer Karl Wurster K.G. of Markneukirchen. Wound Badge in silver, marked with the number ‘30’ in raised relief, indicating the maker Hauptmunzant, Vienna. Infantry Assault Badge in bronze marked ‘RS’ Rudolf Souval of Vienna with its wartime period markings. To the neck is attached an Iron Cross 2nd class in the form of a representation of the Knight's Cross. The tunic has minor damage to the right-hand lower pocket flap through moth and three moth nips to one of the front closure panels; otherwise, the tunic is in excellent, untouched condition. An opportunity to acquire a fully equipped infantry captain’s uniform.
