GERMAN WWII COASTAL ARTILLERY OFFICERS M.43 CAP

A rare piece of headdress from WWII, being the Coastal Artillery officers' M.43 cap. The cap is constructed in the Coastal Artillery Marine green, which differs from the Army green. Complete with gold cellion waffenfarbe to the crown. Twin buttons, which comprise a gilded anchor style with its cellion one-piece triangular eagle and national cockade insignia, machine applied. Blue rayon lining. No size or maker’s markings. The grey half-size forehead lining shows wear and use.
