GERMAN WWII BRESLAU SPORTS FESTIVAL COMMEMORATIVE ALBUM

A very nice album measuring 30 x 21cm, embossed with the image of the Breslau Rathaus, also wording commemorating the sports fest of 1938. The album contains 101 photographs showing Hitler’s visit to the city, Army Generals and Political Leaders, NSKK Leader Huhnlein with his special dagger being worn, Admirals, Navy bands and of course sporting events. In the image of Huhnlein, he appears to be wearing a Feldherrnhalle dagger. Super pictures of a Kriegsmarine band marching with their Schellenbaum banner in evidence. Good close-up photographs of sports banners being held aloft. Commemorative photographs of Adolf Hitler taking the salute at the games. Adolf Hitler arriving in his black Mercedes open-top car. A highly interesting album in terms of identification of flags, daggers, various uniforms, with the album focusing of course, on sports but also the activity of the Kriegsmarine within the games.
