GERMAN WWII AUER LUFTWAFFE FLYING GOGGLES

A nice pair of Luftwaffe flying goggles made by Auer. Quite often, the rubber moulding around the goggles cracks and corrodes; these are in excellent condition. The flyers found the tightness around the nose uncomfortable and virtually always trimmed the rubber away; this is the case in this example, and there is a slight split to the rubber in that area, but the goggles are still very usable and displayable. Complete with its original wide elasticated head strap.
