A nice, large-size standard M 36 officers' tunic, four pockets with pleats, deep turnback cuffs, dark green collar, eight button closure, stitch in red wool piped shoulder boards for the rank of Hauptman in the 95th Artillery Regiment. Red-centred wire-woven collar patches. A nice, high-quality, heavy wire woven eagle. To the left-hand sleeve of the tunic is a beautiful wire-woven, hand-embroidered Edelweiss sleeve badge; to the lower right-hand deep turnback cuff is fitted the yellow-on-white Kreta cuff band. Three ribbon medal bar L/10 Iron Cross first class fitted to the upper right-hand pocket, with a black wound badge below. A hole has been tailored through the lining material to the lower left-hand pocket with a spring-loaded catch for a full dagger hanger; unusually, no inside pocket has been tailored.
