German WWII Army Veterinary or General Staff Officers Overseas Cap

A fine quality Army officers overseas cap in gabardine, featuring standard silver piping to the crown and front scallop. Fitted with a silver Bevo woven eagle on dark green backing, accompanied by the correct matching officers Bevo woven cockade and inverted V waffenfarbe, denoting either the General Staff or Veterinary Department.

The cap shows one minor snag to the material just to the right of the lower portion of the waffenfarbe. Interior lined in light green rayon with a matching light green half-moon leather sweatband.
