GERMAN WWII KYFFHAUSERBUND CAP

A nice condition dark blue bodied Kyffhauserbund visor cap, totally free of any moth. The central band is an intertwined mixture of the Kiel Lighthouse Memorial and swastikas. Standard strap. The frequently encountered very wide-rimmed edge to the visor. The insignia is the Kiel Lighthouse, central to the cockade and above an edelweiss with a miniaturised version of the Kiel Lighthouse insignia at its centre. Standard leather sweatband. An original ‘DRKV Kyffhauserbund Mutz’ label to the interior with the remains of the identical insignia to the upper inner crown, which has rubbed away through wear, but the swastika is still slightly visible.
