GERMAN WWII ARMY TROPICAL INFANTRY OVERSEAS CAP

A nice, rare, unworn example of the tropical material constructed overseas cap with its original soutache. The red lining is maker marked ‘Clemens Wagner’ dated ‘March 42’ stamped size ‘56’ with its original Bevo woven factory applied blue on tan tropical eagle and matching cockade with the rare addition of the white infantry waffenfarbe. Research tells us that the only white piped uniform items that were worn in North Africa were by members of the Army Flak Artillery. Minor oxidisation to the air vents, otherwise excellent stored unworn condition.
