German WWII Army Transport Officers Overseas Cap

A factory-made officers overseas cap for a Transport officer, constructed in enlisted ranks material. Factory-applied silver twisted cord waffenfarbe runs around the crown and front scallop of the cap. Fitted with a heavy bullion eagle and matching bullion cockade, with light blue waffenfarbe indicating the Transport arm of service. A Transport arm of service metal insignia is hand-applied to the side of the cap. Standard enlisted mans style lining. Stamped size ‘54’, dated 1941 with a Hamburg maker’s mark, along with additional unidentified numbers.
