German WWII Army Tan and Water Camouflage Smock

A superb example of the classic tan and water camouflage smock, often referred to as a “sniper smock” when issued with a veil—this version was produced without one. In untouched, unissued condition, the original hood remains attached to the main body. The single-sided tan and water camouflage pattern is crisp and unfaded, with sleeves still creased from long-term storage.

Inside one of the side pockets, the smock is stamped with size ‘I’ (1), using Roman numerals as per the standard system, along with an RB number beneath. It retains the original smock tape for neck closure, full inner waistband with adjustable tape, and the complete set of double adjustable cardboard buttons at the cuffs and front closure. A rarely found example in such pristine and original condition.
