German WWII Army Single Decal Combat Helmet M40

A solid, untouched example of an NS64 M40 combat helmet, batch number 0136. The exterior retains its very dark combat finish, now showing an attractive, even rust bleed that gives the helmet a classic, honest field-worn appearance. The single army decal remains clear and fully visible, with only light abrasions noted.

Inside, the size 57 liner is well-preserved, with good colour and soft, supple leather, fitted to the correct zinc M40 liner band. The helmet is completed by an excellent condition, un-stamped chinstrap. A strong, completely authentic example with great character.
