German WWII Army Single Decal Combat Helmet

A very good example of an M40 Army combat helmet, large Q66 shell, retaining much of its original field-grey finish with light rust bleed visible on the crown and surrounding areas. The single army decal remains virtually complete, showing only slight rust bleed to the left side.

Fitted with its original untouched liner, the leather showing thinning along one inner edge, with the faint size marking appearing to read 58. One long section of the original chinstrap is present, with the opposite side retaining a short section including the buckle.
