GERMAN WWII ARMY SINGLE BUTTON M.43 CAP

The single-button versions of the M.43 cap are hard to find; this is a hugely service worn cap, stamped size 58 on the interior. Much grease around the forehead area and the upper crown. The nap to the cloth on the peak has worn down to zero through the constant removal of the cap from the wearer’s head. No moth damage; the nap is good in other areas of the cap and obviously much thicker underneath the side curtains. Complete with its one-piece Bevo woven triangular-form cap eagle.
