German WWII Army Pioneer NCO/Man’s Visor Cap

A nice condition WWII German Army Pioneer visor cap, crafted from a field grey woolly material with black piping and a standard dark green centre band. It features a matching stamped aluminium national eagle and cockade, a double oval buckle chinstrap, and a standard visor.

Inside, the sweatband is made from ersatz material, complete and undamaged, though some coating has lifted from the base fabric. The interior lining consists of ribbed green and dark grey rayon. The undamaged centre celluloid lozenge is present but bears no maker or retailer markings. Estimated size approximately 57.
