GERMAN WWII ARMY OFFICERS LION HEADED DISPLAY PIECE

Excellent condition gilt to the hilt, some slight rubbing of the gilt on the right and left-hand side of the lion’s head. Twin red jewelled eyes. Grip undamaged, grip wire in place but slightly loose. Mint condition single fullered blade with the Eickhorn trademark fitted. The blade is 83cm long, in its original undented scabbard, with some minor abrasions to the paint finish to the lower half of the scabbard; otherwise, overall a good army officer's sword.
