German WWII Army Medical NCO Visor Cap

A well-preserved and service-worn example of a German Army Medical NCO’s visor cap from World War II, likely a larger size 57 or 58. Constructed to officer-quality standards, this cap features the correct blue piping for medical personnel, a dark green centre band, and a matched set of stamped aluminium eagle and cockade. The standard black chinstrap is secured with side buttons, and the body of the cap is free from moth damage, with just a single moth hole located at the rear of the centre band.

The interior shows honest use, with a fully intact grey leather sweatband and heavy wear staining to the brushed cotton lining, which has faded from its original light grey. The large centre celluloid lozenge is nearly complete, though cracked in two places, with traces of a retailer or maker’s mark just visible beneath. A solid and authentic example of a seldom-seen Army branch cap, ideal for display or collection.
