German WWII Army M40 Huge Size Single Decal Combat Helmet

A very good example of a large-size Army M40 combat helmet. Unusually, the shell bears no factory maker or size stampings, instead featuring a hand-painted white ‘59’ along with other faint white markings to the rear skirt. Retaining its original late to early M40 apple green paint finish, the helmet displays only light wear. The Army decal remains clear and well-defined with minor abrasions, as shown in our web images. The interior features a size 59 stamped liner in excellent condition, showing light service use, and still fitted with its original drawstring. The chinstrap is missing.
