GERMAN WWII ARMY M40 HUGE SIZE SINGLE DECAL COMBAT HELMET

A nice condition, large size helmet, unusually non-maker or size stamped to the inner shell, but with a hand-painted 59 in white ink, also with other unidentifiable white ink markings to the rear skirt. The shell has its original very late, early M40 Apple green paint finish, Army decal good and clear with minor abrasions, as can be seen on our web images. To the interior, the size 59 stamped liner is in nice condition with evidence of wear and use. With its original drawstring, the chinstrap is missing.
