German WWII Army M35 Single Decal Combat Helmet

A scarce and historically interesting M35 helmet, originally issued with the apple green double decal configuration. Under 1940 regulations, the national tricolour decal was removed, leaving a large portion of the early apple green finish intact, with some losses visible in our web images. The helmet shows combat use with shrapnel damage to the front visor. The three liner retaining rivet heads have lost most of their paint, flaking from the aluminium. The remaining decal is clear with a minor abrasion to the lower right wing. The helmet is complete with its original aluminium-banded liner, full liner with all tongues intact, original drawstring, and original maker-marked chinstrap.
