German WWII Army M.42 Single Decal Combat Helmet

A very nice example of a large size M.42 Army combat helmet, marked “HKP 66.” The shell retains virtually all of its original paint finish, with only minor abrasions. The Army decal shows slight losses, visible in our web images. Fitted with its original pigskin liner, which retains much of its original colour, along with the original drawstring. The liner is ink-stamped “59” and complete with its original chinstrap, the tip faintly marked with the date “42.” Large size helmets of this type are particularly scarce.
