GERMAN WWII ARMY M.42 SINGLE DECAL COMBAT HELMET

A ‘HKP 66’ marked shell retaining all of its original paint finish with just minor abrasions, the army decal has slight losses, as can be seen on our web images. Good, large-sized helmet with its pigskin liner having much original colour remaining, with its original drawstring. The liner is ink-stamped ‘59’ with its chinstrap, the tip of the chinstrap having faint markings with the date ‘42’ visible. Large-sized helmets are very difficult to obtain.
