German WWII Army M.42 Single Decal Combat Helmet

An excellent example of an Army issue M.42 single decal combat helmet. The shell is maker stamped ET64 with batch number 2552. The exterior retains virtually all of its original factory paint, with only three or four minor spots of rust. The Heer decal remains in superb condition, showing only a small abrasion to the left leg of the eagle. All liner rivets retain their paint finish aside from one head showing light abrasion. The interior houses its original size 56 liner, showing rot to the forehead area from wear, with the original drawstring still present. The chinstrap is absent. A very good and honest combat-worn example.
